Enfold Me was named from the opening words of a 1905 poem by Haim Nahman Bialik, Israel’s “National Poet.”
In this well-known poem, which has been put to music by numerous Israeli artists, Bialik refers allegorically to yet-unborn Israel as “mother and sister,” seeking comfort and shelter at its breast.
